This party game works really well for a dinner party. It encourages conversation, helps break the ice, and is hilarious.

GET SET

Get some Post-It notes, or bits of paper: one per guest.
On the paper write an unusual phrase and place the piece of paper under your dinner guests’ plates.

Here are some example phrases you could try:

– “My parents breed crocodiles”
– “Jelly baby stuck in his ear”
– “Squirrels had eaten it”
– “I used to be skateboard champion for my county”
– “We often eat horse in our household”

PARTY!

When everyone is seated, ask your guests to privately read their phrase and to fit it discreetly into the party conversation, without being caught out.
See who notices!
